Having three dogs and four cats of her own, Shantel has always been an animal lover, even bringing home and caring for stray dogs and cats since she was a little girl. Shantel has nearly 15 years experience working in grooming and doggie daycare.
Our master groomer Kim brings over 15 years of grooming experience to our Denver spa. Whether it be a special request or breed specific standard groom, Kim is dedicated to using a gentle approach to groom your dogs the way you like.
Margarita has always had a passion for dogs and cats. Not only does she help out with our dog daycare and boarding, but she is a specialist in bath and brushes at our facility. Little things such as teeth brushing and nail clippings are just two of the many other services she loves to do for the dogs and cats at the Downtown Dog.
Born and raised in Denver Colorado, I am a native and my love for animals has always been a huge part of my life. I started to work with dogs in November of 2012 as part of a dog daycare team. My love for the animals and my ability to read them quickly gained me a solid foot in the door. I have worked at other doggie daycares as well but I am excited to call the Downtown Dog my home! I have a little dog name Sid Vicious and he is my best friend and partner in crime. He is also in training to be my service dog.
My name is Ali Bradshaw and I am the proud owner of Downtown Dog. I have 22 years experience working in the pet care industry including working with dogs in kennel/day care settings, as a veterinary assistant, running a dog walking and pet sitting business for the past 10 years and have been training dogs for the past 7 years. My passion is working with dogs and their people. I love to see dogs thriving in their homes and relationships and feel our boarding,daycare,grooming, training and walking will all help owners provide the best for their dogs. I currently have 5 dogs of my own and understand that every dog is different and has different needs; to that end we keep our numbers small to provide individual attention and care. I believe that dogs play such an important role in our lives and I believe they deserve our best. Our services are all centered around the belief that dogs are social animals that require regular loving attention, care, positive training and exercise to be happy and healthy.
