Foundations Class

Our foundations class is a basic obedience group class that runs for 5 weeks for $125.

We keep our class sizes small so you and your dog will get the individual attention you need. We use positive reinforcement when teaching and recommend bringing plenty of tiny tasty treats as we find most dogs are food motivated. If you forget we always have some for sale at our shop.

Over the 5 week period your dog will learn sit, down, watch me, leave-it, off, the fundamentals of loose leash walking, coming when called, stay and wait. There is homework in between classes. To set your dog up for success you should have at least 15 minutes a day to practice at home with your dog.

Dogs must be at least 16 weeks old and up to date on the distemper/parvo combo and rabies. Bordetella is recommended.

Our next class begins May 16th at 7pm and runs for 5 weeks.

Don’t have time to make the class? We do offer two different private options:

Private In Our Facility: 4 45 minute sessions $180

• Sessions can be scheduled Tuesdays and Thursdays between 4pm-7pm
• Covers the same curriculum as our Foundations Class
• Individualized attention
• More time to go over specific trouble areas your dog may be having

Private Foundation Sessions in Your Home: 4 45 minute sessions $300

• Sessions can be scheduled at your convenience, around your schedule
• Covers the same curriculum as our Foundations Class
• Great for dogs who need a distraction free environment for learning
• More time to go over specific trouble areas your dog may be having
