Pet Interviews

The health and safety of all of the dogs is our biggest concern.

We require interviews for all new dogs to ensure your dog is a good fit for our daycare, plays well with others, and enjoys their stay at Downtown Dog.

interview.339172930_stdDuring the interview, new dogs will be introduced to the other dogs one at a time to reduce stress and give your dog time to adjust to his/her new surroundings. This also gives them ample time to sniff around and explore their new environment. New humans will have the opportunity to tour the building and ask any questions they may have.

We will need at least 15 minutes of your time to walk you through the facility and 4 hours to a full day of daycare to conduct a thorough interview, but the entire day of daycare is free. We do interviews Monday through Saturday.

 

 

 

 

 

The day of your dog’s interview please bring your dog’s vaccination records. Our required vaccines:

  • Rabies
  • Bordetella
  • Distemper
